beard papa

sometimes i think i'm the luckiest dog in the world! mommie was making mashed potatoes for the big turkey feast. daddie helped whip them all nice and fluffy. i don't care how fluffy they were, but the best part is i got to lick the entire large mixing bowl. it's a good thing i'm not lactose intolerant. it's not everyday i get to lick the bowl. i felt special for a split second.

all pooped out.

it has been a whirlwind of activity. we left early thanksgiving day and spent the last 3 days lounging and relaxing and eating in palm springs. maya's daddie came to get her early that day. we said our farewells and i picked up where i left off, as the protective security dog on the alert. here i am taking one of my famous naps. i'm trying to recover so i can tell you all about my adventures in palm springs.

the calm...before the storm

lots has happened in the last day. maya's daddie brought her over. we are taking her to palm springs to meet her other daddie. here we are taking our morning nap, full bellies and all. this is a very rare moment where we are both chillin' and minding our own business. mommie calls it the calm before the storrm.

maya and i play really rough. this is what it usually looks like when she comes to visit. we sound like 2 tasmanian devils on the loose, snorting and gurgling our devil pig noises.

action.... rolling.. and cut!

i'm making the rounds! look at me and daddie on the art blog based in SF, bunnywax
i have been really busy getting ready for the big long weekend in palm springs. all my frenchie pals will be there too! buster, maya, and panda one. i can't wait. mommie told me i cannot jump in the pool this time. i guess sinking like a bowling ball doesn't really count as swimming. talk to you from PS!

jungle cat! RrrrRRrrrRrrrrRrrr

lions, tigers and panthers oh my! i can't seem to keep up with all the new apple OS releases. i hear the latest is leopard. or is it cougar? oh wait, that's mommie. actually, she's not old enough technically to be a real cougar...
this is a typical sunday afternoon for me, waiting around on whatever perch i choose. this one happens to be the closest to the front door so i don't have too move much to see who's coming and going. meow!

salt and pepper

mommie says i'm going grey. i have more white hairs around my chops. it's what i call salt and pepper, kinda like daddie. it must be genetic. he's been like that for as long as i can remember. maybe martini mommie, jen, can paint them black again for me with her hair products or a wave of her wand.
