seal season

in case you haven't heard, it's seal season.  seal mating season.  people think i look like a seal sometimes when i'm all sprawled out.  between my donkey ears and my pot belly pig stature, i guess i can be a kinda confusing little beast.  here i am lazing around on a saturday afternoon.  it was almost 80 degrees that day!  i was staying cool in the shade of a chaise lounge.  it's a great place for people and dog watching.

mommie told me there's a new kid on the block.  Maya's daddie, jayson, was lonely without her in los angeles full time so he decided to get another one.  this one's a boy.  i can't wait to meet him.  i don't even know what his name is but this photo was taken on the car ride from the airport.  he looks so tiny.  it's crazy to think i used to be so tiny too. he almost looks like my pal, buster.  i can't wait to meet him but i'm not sure if there's some newborn quarantine law.

in any case, im sure i will have plenty of time to show him the ropes.
